Samsung SGH-E600 review

Samsung SGH-E600 cell phone

A notable phone we had the chance to review is the Samsung SGH-E600, a phone that was conceived to rival this year's market. Unveiled around 01/7/2004 the SGH-E600 supports the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 82 x 42 x 24 mm and weighting only 85 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Samsung SGH-E600 comes with an interesting camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 5X Zoom / Self-Timer / Multi-Shot. The phone is equipped with a 900 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 150 hours. Its engineers included a 5 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! The screen on this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 128 x 128 px.

Samsung built the SGH-E600 with a 64 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add a lot of ringtones. The game collection included in the Samsung SGH-E600 is based on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the SGH-E600 has support for both SMS and EMS. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The predictive text system exploits the T9 technology, being very easy to use.

This cell phone uses the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The SGH-E600 comes with an infrared port for wireless data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to exchange data between both systems. We have found the Samsung SGH-E600 to be an awesome cell phone and we happily suggest it to someone in search of a good phone!
