An interesting cell phone we had a look at is the Samsung SGH-P107, a phone that was conceived to compete a very competitive market. Launched around 01/4/2004 the SGH-P107 functions under the networks GSM 850 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 89 x 48 x 23 mm and weighting only 93 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Samsung SGH-P107 is equipped with an interesting camera of 0.1 MP / 352 x 288 px / Rotate / Self-Timer. The phone is equipped with a 810 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 5.00 hours and gives in standby 200 hours. Its engineers included a 3 MB memory, enough a normal use! Samsung created the SGH-P107 with a 40 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add tons of ringers. The gaming system included in the Samsung SGH-P107 is running on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the SGH-P107 has support for both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The phone has a calendar which is very easy to use and Samsung equipped it with a phone book having a contact list capacity of 500.
The prediction text tool uses the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The SGH-P107 comes with an infrared port for wireless communication. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to exchange information.
